  • Summary INV-001 is a new drug development project of topically administered small-molecule for hypertrophic scar and keloid by inhibiting collagen production in fibroblast. Phase 2 trial is completed in Korea. In a Phase 2 clinical trial involving patients undergoing thyroidectomy, INV-001 demonstrated a statistically significant 24.5% improvement in scar treatment efficacy in the 2.0% treatment group compared with the placebo group after 12 weeks (P<0.05, ANCOVA).
